Dr. Karimuddin, a senior pediatrician and recipient of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award, represented the Saudi Indian Healthcare Forum and the medical community of Saudi Arabia at the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He participated as a panelist in a discussion on the ‘Role of Indian Diaspora promoting Indian healthcare Eco-system’

Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is an annual gathering of people of Indian origin who live outside of India. The event is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The main objective of this annual event is to provide a platform for the overseas Indian community to engage with the government and people of India and to explore opportunities for further engagement and contribution to India’s development.
